We meet every Sunday at 10:00am for what we call our Disciples Classes, for adults, young people and children. These classes are open to anyone and last for an hour. They are aimed at people who are motivated to dig deeper into the Bible and learn how to apply these principles to their lives. If you arrive from 09:45am you can grab a cup of tea or coffee and meet other people who are arriving for the classes.
At 11:00am we are come together from our different classes to meet and greet one another over a cup of tea or coffee, usually accompanied by some delicious food from the hospitality table. This is a time when we can especially meet visitors.
The worship service begins at 11:30am and usually lasts about 1.5 hours, and this includes singing, a short inspirational talk from the Bible and prayer. We want to be particularly mindful of current events in the news which we might give attention to from time to time. We also work hard at being intentionally inclusive of our young people and children, and try to involve them in different ways.
On the last Sunday of each month we do not have Disciples Classes but gather from 10:00am for refreshments and fellowship, followed by an all age worship service which runs to around 1:00pm
We want to encounter God, both through worshipping Him and through Bible teaching. Something you may find different about our worship times is that we welcome and encourage gifts of the Holy Spirit from the congregation as described in the Bible. We will from time to time offer prayer for individuals after the service. We encourage baptism in the Holy Spirit, and often pray for people for physical and emotional healing.
During August our meeting times slightly differ. There are no morning Discipleship Classes but we meet from 11am over a cup of tea or coffee and start our altogether worship service at 11.30am.
